|POWER Continuous Ink System are designed for RELIABILITY and BIG SAVINGS. But to maximize your savings and to get the best result out of your printer, follow these valuable tips:
Do not turn your printer On and OFF
Try not to turn your printer off and on repeatedly. Your printer actually uses up a small amount of ink every time it initializes itself (ie turns on). If you are having a problem getting a document to print, try to solve it at the computer end of things first. Many people rely on switching the printer on and off to solve the simplest of problems. Sometimes its not actually the poor printers fault at all - and more importantly its a waste of ink!
Use Black Mode Printing
Aside from draft mode printing, there is this "Black Mode Printing". If youre printing out a black and white document, change the printing mode to black only. For example, with an Epson Inkjet printer, go to "Print Properties > Ink > Black". Believe it or not, if you leave your printer in color mode, you are using actually up the ink in your color cartridge - even if you only have black in your document!
Printing from Web pages
If you are printing a web page from your internet browser, avoid printing the unnecessary graphics. The inkjet printer would consume lots of ink to print the graphics. Most of the times you do not need it as it is mostly advertisement banners, web site logo etc. You could just cut and paste the test into a text editor and print it from there.
Choose the Right Setting on the Right Media
Use the right printer setting on the right paper. Use the right paper for the right project. It will give you the best quality of printing if you're using the right setting on the right paper. Best Photo Printing prints and reflects best on photo papers. Also take advantage of your printer software like "Enhance Photo Printing"
Use FINE PRINT - This program condenses a print job without forsaking your document's clarity. You can choose how many pages of your document you want to print in a single paper, and you have control over how they are assembled. (You can always rearrange them in any order.) When your pages are ready to go, you can then print them out in a series or as a booklet.
What dust can do?
Common dust can wreck havoc on your inkjet. Simply keeping the printer's environment as dust free as possible will eliminate this type of problem. It is helpful to remove the top piece of paper from the printer's input tray and remove the dust prior to printing if the printer hasn't been used in a while. Almost all of the dust that affects the printer is introduced through the paper feed process. If you're not using the printer for a long time, it is advisable to cover it by printer cover or even with a piece of cloth.
POWER QUALITY (คุณภาพน้ำหมึก)
Use the ink intended for your Cartridge or CISS. Bad ink can damage the head of your printer.
